Its British time.From November 2011 to May 2012, the UK Presidency of the Council of Europe will be celebrated throughout the city of Strasbourg. Over the six months, the Alsatian capital will experience a very British style programme of events in the areas of visual arts, theatre, architecture, film, food, dance, and so on.Lewis Carroll will be honoured as part of an exhibition at La Chambre and the British works from the collection of MAMCS will be presented at the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in Strasbourg. David Lean will be the focus of a film cycle, as will as Stephen Frears. Don't miss the premiere of the film Sherlock Holmes 2 directed by Guy Ritchie.
